M27 Disruption

This coming weekend there are numerous closures on quite a number of slip roads from Rownhams in the west to Whiteley (Fareham west) in the east. Some overnights, some whole weekend. Best advice - stay well away from the whole lot. I've just returned from a trip to Propex in Ringwood, an excellent firm,  to get a problem with the water heater fixed. Glad I arranged it for today before the shenanigans start.

    I had a trip to Portsmouth last week and there were many lane closures and signs warning of selected section closures at certain times....

    in fact, I wasn't held up at all, nor on the return journey....but I slipped off early at the M3 start point and used the A34/A303 instead of staying on the M27 for longer....

    Just to make it worse 6 cruise liners in, avoid Southampton this weekend if U can

    No, five tomorrow and three on Sunday. Mind you, they're all biggies except Braemar.
