A few points for anyone considering a stop over or stay at Commons Wood site:

Toilet/Shower block closed (as highlighted on club web page) until October according to notice by the bins.

Prices although reduced still high for no facilities.

No tv reception - tv hook ups not working. Sat dishes will not work on all pitches due to tree line around site.

Noise from builders working on toilet block.

I have stayed here many times and it is a great site when fully operational but you may wish to look elsewhere for now.

    Thanks for the post.  Hope this may help others thinking of visiting the area. 

    We stayed at Commons Wood a few years ago and found it a great location but would definitely reconsider in the light of current issues on site.
