Hi Guys we will be travelling back to Manchester from Godrevy Club site in late July.

We want break the journey up & we're looking for a site ( Club, CL or commercial any will do) between Somerset & Bristol ish. On our way down we're stopping at Exmoor Club site. We're in a MH so would prefer a site will a nice pub that does meals to finish our Hols off. But we would use public transport if needed for the right site/pub.

Thanks

Cadeside is very convenient for the M5 and has The Skylark (Marstons) nearby.

Hurn Lane is also close to the M5 but the pubs aren’t that close.

Check out the CLs in the area - there are dozens.

Brent House (near Westcountry Motorhomes) is a very good eatery (vouchers online) but I’m not aware of a site nearby

+1  for Cadeside --  I  always use Cadeside to break my trips from Crewe to Cornwall 'cos it gives a clean break from the Motorway Madness  and a chance to 'top up' the larder at ASDA !!

The one thing --  It is a No Facility Site.

There was a similar request to this just a few days ago. A quick search of CLs throws up many choices - Dutch Court Farm near Highbridge looks good, though can't vouch for it personally. smile

Edit - just spotted that you want something on the way back up. If you can get a bit further there's an excellent site at Slimbridge (Tudor Caravan site at Shepherds Patch) with a pub right on the doorstep,  a canal adjacent for and evening/morning stroll and the world famous WWF Trust centre just down the road. Easily accessed from the M5.

A Motorhome stopover at a pub with good food ?

The Puriton Inn off junction 23 of the M5 - provided they have got their recent kitchen fire sorted out.
