Snobbery

Does anyone else find this camping club staff really snobby and giving members the feeling if they move a pebble out of place the alarm will go off?

We use campsites all over and "off the peg" sites are much more friendly with the owners offering an assortment of information. 

Club sites are run too strictly ... we use them for convenience
