Decided to fill in the form to transfer the ownership of our van to ensure the continuation of the warranty.  I was gobsmacked to discover there is a £50 charge for this service.  Whenever I’ve brought a nearly new car there’s never been any form filling or payment.

I’ve come across this before and even heard of only part of the warranty being transferable despite the fee being paid. Dick Turpin lives😕

I think the biggest con with this is when they reduce the water ingress warranty for the second owner. Mine (Elddis) is 10 years but on transfer to the second owner that drops to 6 years, and they want £75 for the privilege.

It is perfectly legal but immoral. Caravan makers can write whatever they want into the warranty and they do take advantage of this.
