Dog owner blatantly walking dog between pitches

Before an avalanche comes in from dog owners I know most of you obey the rules.

But this week on the Bridlington site we watched from our van a lady walk her 2 dogs up and down the grass between pitches until they did their business. The dog walk was just around the corner from where they were pitched. This is a busy site which gets a lot of families so I find her actions deplorable.

We did report it to the wardens.

Why an avalanche? I’d not expect any responsible dog owner here to defend the rule breach.

If you’ve looked at the sticky thread in U.K. sites about touring with dogs, you’ll have seen the Community Manager ask that we don’t bring complaints about dog owners here but report issues to the warden or, if necessary, the club itself.

You’ve done that hopefully the irresponsible dog owner was told the error of her ways. That’s all there is to say as far as I can see.

Why would the OP necessarily mention on site? Why would the OP know what the Community Manager has said on 'The Dog Thread' - I don't as I have not read it.

The Club does not want any adverse comments about dogs as, given the number of members owning dogs and also caravanning with them, the dogs jay eggs - golden or otherwise - and their owners bring trade.

Might be best if you read Rowena’s explanation ET, clarifies everything, for those with or without dogs.🙂

No idea where said thread might be I assume that there is nothing contained in terms for forum usage - is there?

I think, Easy, as you well know, the dog issue caused far too many contentious posts/threads in the past and that is why Ro said what she did and took the line she described.

You’ve not read it? Really? I’m shocked. 🤣

Like teaching an old dog new tricks, if at first you don’t succeed, keep trying, the penny drops eventually.

Mind you, it took our old Airedale a pound of cheese to learn how to give a paw...........by which time I realised he was a wily old so and so who loved cheese......😂🐾🐾🐾

The Community Manager has indicated that separate posts about the actions of dog owners should not be posted on the forum. The OP has taken the correct action by reporting it to the warden. I have locked this thread to further contributions.
