Whilst away last week I noticed the "FireAngel" carbon monoxide detector has stopped working. Thinking it was battery operated I removed it from it's mount. Unfortunately it was a sealed unit and couldn't be repaired. Last Thursday, on the off chance, I phoned the technical support team and explained my problem expecting them to ask for its return. Instead I was asked for the batch number on the back panel and without question I was told a new one would be sent out by post. The unit has a 7 year guarantee so presumably the batch number must have told them it's age.
Today the new unit arrived by post. Great service
