Booking a year ahead 1st of Month

I've tried on 1st May to book a year ahead for 2020 but all sites are showing unavailable. From the bookings post it says from April 2019 we will be able to book a year ahead. When does the year ahead bookings open each month if tis not the 1st? Anyone know?

    The opening date varies but tends to be a day in the first week of the new month. 

    Keep trying from tomorrow onwards and keep an eye on the front page which may update you.

    If you look in What's On the details are there under club news.

    Booking starts May 1st.

    My link failed and went to April but the new date is there.

    A bit off topic but I must say I like this year in advance booking, not only has it stopped the threads on booking day, I like having and seeing a year's worth of bookings in 'my bookings'.

    I suppose with two BH in May it may get busy? 

    but surely with a 8.45 am start this is discriminating against working folk and favoring retired bookers?

    Thanks I should have put 1st Aprilinto my discussion thread. As in the drop downs for bookings shows March 2020. But when you go to March 2020 and arrow forwards it shows you April. Bit confusing to be honest. I’ll try for May from 1st May. 

    Has the club sorted out bookings that go over month end ? Or do we still have to book 1 month for example end July) and then wait a month and book again ( example beginning of August) for the days going over the month end and hope they available.i know many members raised this last year, particularly over the school summer holidays July to Agust when bookings are high.

    I would think even the "honey pot sites" a year in advance will not be a problem waiting until the next month if you need to cover dates that go over to next month

    I think last year July and August were made open to booking at the same time.

    I always though a year ahead meany 12 months! On site on one very popular site on the 20th of one particular month and tried to book 12 months in advance, ie the 20th, to find the site fully booked.  Suppose I should have checked whatever small print was applicable to the clubs view of what they consider what "12 months" is.  Wonder if their extended 12 months also covers membership. Ah well, well done to all those who "beat" me to the site, I suppose!!!

    There were a couple of months this year where it didn’t happen due to complicated reasons. Perhaps you were caught up in that, Brallan.

    You have to wait for the monthly release date so maybe the dates were unavailable rather than fully booked.

    I would have thought wanting to stay on a club site would be a prerequisite to booking and so being bothered?

    Therefore I am at a loss why you posted, but thanks for letting us know.smile
