Great customer service from Cadac
We have a Cadac Safari Chef 2 BBQ of the gas canister type. It is probably 3 or 4 years old.
On first use this year, the plastic Burner Support Collar came away from the jet/nozzle and it appeared that the internal thread had stripped.
On contacting the original supplier [Towler & Staines], they said that the part was out of stock but they were awaiting a fresh delivery from Cadac.
I then contacted Cadac directly:-
“Can you advise when this situation will be remedied as the BBQ is unusable at the moment & the BBQ season is upon us??!!”
and this was their response:-
“We are sorry to hear this. The new spares are due very soon; however, we do have some here we are able to send to you.
Please send through your postal address so that we can send you the new burner collar and you are able to get out and enjoy the appliance!”
The new collar arrived in todays post – no charge.
It is nice to be able to report customer service as good as this.
