Gin
I bought a lovely blue coloured gin yesterday for quite an emotional reason.
Its called Angels High Gin made in Lincolnshire with a picture of a Lancaster on the front.
The following is written on the bottle: "Angels High is an aviation term used to describe altitude.
Blue to reflect the wide open skies of Lincolnshire, this gin is our tribute to the brave bomber boys who have served within our county...we shall forever be in their debt."
Each time I take a drink, I will remember. Very poignant.

I'm not a particular fan of Gin, but if you are close to Lichfield/ Rugeley, take a trip out to High Ash Country Store, near Blythfield Reservoir, Abbots Bromley. (19 Goose Ln, Abbots Bromley, Rugeley WS15 3DF, 01283 840267 https://g.co/kgs/qjVQSz )
It is basically an old farm but it has a lovely Tea/ Coffee shop (called Cobwebs) which sell the best cake I have ever had, all homemade. There is also a Chocolate shop and a 'micro-brewery' which have an excellent selection of Gins on sale.
What's not to like about this gem of a place to visit...

DSB I've just taken a look at High Ash Country Store. I'll have to plan a journey across that way. It's about two hours away from us. I bought my gin from a similar place. A farm shop called Doddington Hall Cafe and Gardens. I'm not sure how to do a link but this is the website. Very nice if you're in our area.
