    Hi mickbroth - remember we have all got that particular T shirt...First Time Out and what do I do now! After a couple of trips you'll wonder what you were worried about. Take your time, there's no rush and enjoy - it will be great. Having said that after almost 40 years of towing I forgot to put the breakaway chain on on our last trip! Senility reigns!

    Lots of good advice given on here, in general when towing just take things easy and give yourself plenty of room when negotiating corners and roundabouts. Your towing vehicle (unless its a heavy suv ) will be affected by the extra weight so will not respond as quickly as when being solo.
