Toilet Tap Problem!

Hi folks,

I retrieved my caravan (2003 Swift Charisma 570) from winter storage and performed the usual checks before we hit the road for our Easter holidays next week.

When I finally got to the toilet tap, immediately after opening the valve, the shower head shot off and I was soaked with high pressure water. I've attached some photos showing the connection between the hose and the shower head.

It looks like the shower head simply "push fits" to the hose, but the green gizmo (sorry, not sure what to call it) has either sheared, or was originally two parts glued together. This doesn't seem right to me. In any event, I can't get the tap to stay on the hose now.

I've looked online for fitting instructions (it's a CT272 tap type, apparently) but can't find anything that explains how the hose and head are connected. I'm hoping someone on here can provide some insight!

Thanks in advance :-)
