Need a touring site with hotel or apartment accom

Hi,  

My son, wife and baby want to join us on holiday this year but aren't caravanners.  I have spent ages looking for a touring site with hotel or apartment accommodation but have drawn a blank.   

We are looking for a site in the West country with a pool and other leisure facilities, near the coast.

 Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Have you checked out the club's on site self catering accommodation?

    I think for your family to use the on site amenities, they’d probably need to be staying on site but that would bear checking out.

    Minehead Butlins has accommodation plus touring pitches, all on the sea front with a beach.

    You can use www.eurocampings.co.uk to find touring sites which also offer apartments, or mobile homes, or bungalows, or log cabins, plus a pool or a tropical paradise or any other criteria you want.  Go to the website, click on the UK on the map of Europe, then using the 'Advanced Search' first click sites with a pool, then under 'Available to hire at the site' select the type of accommodation.  I would check one at once, because selecting more than one will find only sites with BOTH types of accommodation.

    However, many commercial sites have mobile homes to hire as well as touring pitches.  Modern mobile homes can be just as luxurious as an apartment or a bungalow, with en-suite bathrooms, proper kitchens, decks and even hot tubs!

    Eurocampings is nothing to do with Eurocamp - the ready-tent tour operator - but is the website of ACSI which is a Dutch camping and caravanning organisation.

    If you dont have a dog, Take a look at Ruda Holiday Park, in Devon  it's a Parkdean Resorts park, but has touring pitches  statics and apartments. It's also right next to Croyde beach.and has a pool .

    Perhaps Lanyon holiday park in West Cornwall -it has the pool you want and self catering lodges on site "which are more like little bungalows",

    Woolacombe Bay in Devon has several sites and different types of accommodation including hotels and static vans plus touring areas. It depends how flexible you are about being near each other or within walking distance etc.

    We haven’t stayed, but have used swimming pool and laundry, lovely location.
