Small motorhome advice

I'm trying to settle on a motorhome having had a campervan for 12 months and absolutely LOVE going away in it !  However for various reasons linked to disability it is too dinky especially in height and it is difficult to get into the pop top??what I need must still be small, have a fixed bed, and vitally a small garage under its rear  (that could fit a broken up int 5 peices mobility scooter) BUT IT MUST ALSO BE A MAXIMUM OF 6METRES . Am currently looking at the Swift Rio 325 and the Swift compact c250. Are there any other makes snd/or models that meet this criteria and are also available with an automatic gear box.

    I was just about to suggest my MH, a Marquis Majestic 125 until I saw the auto box requirement. Peugeot based so no auto. I made a short list of compact MH's when researching so you might want to have a look at the following:-

    Burstner Brevio T600, Burstner Travel Van T590G, Hymer Exsis -i 414, Hymer Van S 500, Hymer Van 374, Hymer Exsis – T 414, Knaus Van Ti 550MD, Pilote Galaxy G600G, Pilote 903F, Chausson Flash 514
    All these are 6m vans although not all current models.

    This is in the wrong section, btw but hopefully a mod will move it to the MH section.

    I can fully recommend the Roller team T590, comes on Auto, having an electric bed, which lowers when needed, means you have ample living space, good bathroom, garage ? Not sure of your needs but mine seems to take everything and more, biased as we have one, but could fit the bill.

    We spent months looking, as advised research needed.

    If you are loading a mobility scooter into the garage of a motorhome you just need to be aware of payload limitations. Some continental vans with garage have a very limited payload.

    I would have thought that if one member of the crew needed a mobility scooter they might also need relatively low level bunks with ease of access which might rule out a higher bed over a garage or a drop down bed? Depending on the weight of the mobility scooter would it fit on a rear chassis bike rack like the AlKo Sawiko?

    Thankyou all so much for your assistance...it is all really helpful! I hadnt thought of attaching the scooter to a bracket on rear of vehicle!

    If you go to some of the disability exhibitions, e.g. NAIDEX you can get lots of ideas. This year at the NEC there were two exhibitors displaying two coach builts, a camper van, and a caravan for use by people with disabilities.

    I expect you have already made a decision what fits you best however we bought a Hymer Exsis i414 last year as it ticks many of our boxes and it is a great vehicle. 
    massive garage. Bigger than any sub 6m MH From my research. The payload is massive at over 700kgs. This can certainly be an issue. 
    the transverse bed is incredibly comfortable. If you’re taller than possibly you would need to use the electric pull down. 
    ours has the 6 speed comfortmatic gearbox which is essentially automatic as no clutch and no changing gears required (unless you want to).
