Bradcot modul air questions

I’ve seen some of the negative comments on here about the Bradcot modul air. Does anyone have one and have some counter reviews? We really like the idea of being able to take away only what we need, but want to get a mix of options to balance out our views.

I’m also trying to work out, do the window panels on the extensions zip open so you can have them open durin the day?
