Car Insurance for young members

Being a family organisation I was surprised when I looked at including under 25's on the club insurance site found taht teh club do not offer car insurance for under 25 and could not find any real reason for it .

    I think this post should be under a different section and would hope a Moderator might move it so that more members may see it.

    In response to your post the club will be following the insurance company's terms as they are only acting as agents. However as they have taken the liberty of ensuring that members over 85 years of age can be insured through them I would have thought that they would have used their bargaining power to include younger member drivers.

    I can see that at both ends of the spectrum there will be the possibility of the system being abused by those who are just after cheaper insurance but I'm sure the insurers and the club could work something out.
