Having problem getting replacement for rear corner skirt on my Autocruise Stardream.  Cracked it whilst reversing.  Cannot track down replacement, and quote for repair is around £300. Any ideas please.

take a look at thiswww.aycesystems.com  Sorry it's not a proper link.

£300 doesn't sound excessive to me for a good repair. I paid around that to have a plastic wheel arch repaired on a vehicle a few years ago. It was a really good job.

If it comes off easily could you not glue it back together?

Have you tried a caravan breaker for the part?

Hope the above helps sun bather.

I agree with Mitsi in that £300 doesn't sound too bad a price if it's a decent repair.

Thank you all.  I actually managed to track down a one-man business who was able to weld the plastic.  Took the van along, thinking I would get a quote and have to book it in, but he did the work there and then, and charged me £50.  All I have to do is spray paint it, which I'm more than happy to do.  Shows good service is still out there, and certainly saved me £250.
