Showers per capita

And ..... even when open, IMHO there aren't enough showers. Apparently the shower blocks have been recently refurb'd  (one looks to have been but the other has some pretty loud green pattern tiling 😕) but there are just 5 male showers & 5 female showers, 3 in one & obviously 2 in the other. There are 87 pitches here which means there is likely to be quite a queue if the site is anything like full .... especially if you want to be out & about early. Maybe 1 or 2 of the rarely used cubicles could've been converted to a shower ..... it'd have been a step in the right direction.

As it is, the site is very quiet at the moment.

    not my fault,I have a perfectly good and comfortable shower in my caravan with clothes to hand in the warm bathroom area.I have never,and will never,use a site shower facility!Why do people feel the need to traipse to the shower block in their dressing gowns or shorts and t shirt when the air temp.is around 10 degrees!foot-in-mouth

    Replace privacy cubicles with more showers? Blimey, where's Ian H when you need him?!! wink

    Can't say that I have ever experienced a queue for my shower on a CC site

    nor me, and thinking about it that is about the usual ratio for showers to humans.

    Has the OP experienced a queue? if not then...

    As said ..... the site is pretty quiet now. But how do you get 87 pitches with of 'customers'  through 10 showers? A pretty p poor ratio really .... even if you're a staunch CC supporter.

    I have bathroom too, but having paid top dollar for a club site I might as well use their facilities  .... however I did have to use my own at 10 the other morning as the club site block opposite me was shut & I wasn't prepared to trek across to the other block.

    Yes, so we can avoid it and try for a more acceptable ratio of showers to pitches elsewhere!

    How many do you want to use?and just to note there are still about 22.5 hrs in a day to have a shower with the normall site cleaning timessurprised

    how sad for you!Perhaps you would be better off staying at home so that you can arrange bathroom cleaning at a time to suit you!

    So 87 pitches, say 2 people per pitch = 174 people, say 73% of people want to shower that's 127.02 using all the 10 showers that's 12.702 people per shower , I would be one of the 27% that don't use the showers ,so in all honesty,I don't care cool

    Actually there are 2 of us in the house with 2 showers. Even when the kids were at home it was a ratio of 2 people to 1 shower

    Only 2 people use our van shower so I know there is no chance of getting  verrucas or other nasties surprisedwink
