Hi after bringing my 4 year old Lunar home after 4 months in storage, when I connected it up to the mains I discovered that the battery wasn’t charging. On the display it comes up 13.2 good but not charging as it used to say. It was working fine before I put it away. All the 240 volt and 12 volt systems are working ok and the charge level doesn’t seem to drop when you use any appliances Has anyone any ideas please

Did you leave the battery in the van? If so the battery may have discharged in the 4 months and be struggling to accept a charge.

If this is the case you may be able to revive the battery by using a smart charger.

There is a lot of information on the internet about how to identify a discharged battery and the steps to go through to revive it.

Did you turn everything off, when you left the van, even the master switch on the mains power supply?  I have discovered that power is supplied to the radio, the Truma heating system and the circulation pump, presumably so you can heat the van with gas. Unless you turn off on the master power supply.  It’s taken 6 years to discover all this.  And power is always been taken by alarm system, and the Phantom tracker ... though this is not a lot

my van has just been into the dealer for work. My Phantom tracker measures battery voltage twice daily, the dealers workshop didn’t fully turn off the electrics after working on it, the battery was down to nothing after 5 days.  I have graphs to show what happened.  Hope battery is not trashed.

The van was Impossible to move, on motor mover when we got home,  not good customer service.
