Long shot  but does anyone know how to set up the bed in a  2 BERTH 1994 ELDDIS NOBALITY EARL .  I have removed the draw from near the window  and pulled out all the slats but when I use the "seat " cushions  I seem to be a  " cushion "  missing   I have tried all combinations using the back rests etc and  arm rests but to no avail   if any one has an old  manual  or even better some photos of this is meant to look like it would be appreciated  Thanks

When you say you have removed the drawer, is that where there is a gap for a cushion?is so then you should not need to remove the drawers the bed will be complete with the drawers in place

Is this pic like your van, Keith?

It’s not usual to need to remove the drawer unit to make the double bed. Sometimes the long cushions need to turn 90° to fit across the van.

Looking on the seat squabs on each front seat is one long one and one short. On all vans of that style that I have seen it is usual to have the short cushion at the front and for that to stay in place with the longer ones used to make the double bed and the drawers staying in place also

And then sleep across the van with the drawer unit in place?

That’s it. The drawer unit stays in place and the short cushions fit beside it. The van in the library pic also has the unit. You can just spy it beyond the table.

It looks like every 2 berth we've owned.

Turn the 2 long squabs that you normally use to sit on over. This way you avoid any knee roll. Then pull out some slats which are normally found just beneath the bottom drawer in the front unit. Then put the 2 backrests from the squabs in the middle on top of the slats, inverted like the squabs, and sleep across the van, leaving the drawer unit in situ.

Never had an Elddis but as I said it looks a lot like the Swift and Coachman that we had in the 1990s.
