Booking Amendments
I'm too lazy to read the handbook, Sorry but hey I'm a man.
We joined the club purely for Sandringham site, not disappointed either, but having looked at the cancellation/booking process, all be it briefly, we are thinking this could solve a problem.
Michelle works a rota weekend, sometimes one day, then both, then not at all. Throw into the mix her shift if you can call it such has a variable start, finish, duration. Then things can change, so not a real reliable pattern of work we can mark on a calendar.
The question is, am I correct in thinking if say we book NOW, here again (Sandringham) for October, Saturday for 8 nights.
Then Michelle later in the year, let's say September, finds she is working, either the weekend of departure or the weekend of our return,
Could I amend the booking to a different arrival/departure date ???
We normally dont book anywhere until a few days before we leave, which in the past has caused disappointment with a chosen site being full.

If you are logged in on here, go to my profile, my uk site bookings, then all your bookings appear.. Against each booking is view / amend / cancel.. Do it asap , at least 36 hrs before travel.. Of course there is always a risk that your chosen site may be already fully booked on your amended dates.

Lengthening your stay is OK at any time, as long as there is availability of course. In that respect avoiding a Sunday start would be advisable, as extending it back into the weekend is likely to be a problem. Also avoid booking a service pitch, these are more likely to book up. They are level though.😂
Shortening your stay has to be done more than 72 hours before your arrival date. So for a Friday 12 noon arrival, before 12 noon on Tuesday. Otherwise you may get a yellow card (email from the club) A copy ( from one I received earlier) is reproduced below. Although I have never tried just shortening a booking, just totally cancelling.
We are sorry that you had to cancel your booking with us, but as the cancellation was made less than 72 hours before you were due to arrive, it has been noted as a late cancellation on our records.
We appreciate that you may have contacted the Club to discuss the cancellation of your booking. Please note that this communication is an automated response to all bookings cancelled with less than 72 hours notice.
This late cancellation is in breach of the Club's policies stated in our booking terms and conditions. You will be contacted by the Club if there is more than one occasion of a late cancellation this year, however if you book another of our Club sites within 24 hours and within the same date range of this late cancellation, it will not be counted as a breach.

Book both week ends and adjust to suit, best thing about this club it is the same cost for 21 nights as 8 when booking. enjoy 😀😀

The process is painless but if you change dates you do have to hope that the extra dates are free.
We booked up a fortnights touring only for my nephew to decide to get married at the last weekend of the trip whereas we had booked near them at the start. I was able to rejig the holiday moving dates and cancelling and rebooking within about ten minutes so no problem.
