Latest Club Competition
I've just had an e-mail to say that one of the two combined prizes in it's latest competition, a DFSK Glory SUV car, is no longer part of the prize. Could it be that the car was not suitable for the towing of the Weinsberg caravan that was the other part of the comp? I wonder if some-one at HO has not done proper due diligence, and is now suffering from, at the very least, a red face?

Club can't be wrong can they, JVB.
This is the statement from HO which reads as if the two were both part of the competition!!
"Thank you for entering the free competition to win a brand new Weinsberg caravan together with a DFSK Glory SUV car"
How does it read to you?

I too entered but had no idea what the car was.
It appears to be a Chinese brand and looks like a VW Golf but more upright. I can only assume they planned to import them but it has not happened. The only thing I can find is on You tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw0-ry6yJjA

An explanation from HO would sort out the questions raised.....but are they willing to admit that they made an error and tell us why? I'd be surprised if they do respond.

I found this about the car.
The DFSK Glory 580 is a Honda CR-V type of SUV with seven seats, priced at Honda BR-V levels. It starts from Rp 245.9 juta (RM69,488) for a 1.8 litre manual, and the range topping version with a 1.5 litre turbo engine and CVT goes for merely Rp 308 juta (RM87,042).

Dong Feng means East Wind. I suspect Asia is blowing us another raspberry!
