we went to New Zealand to visit our daughter and family, when touring the north island

we passed a lot of camp sites with all sorts of campers,

now when I go on holiday I like to have a balcony to sit out and enjoy the view

but in New Zealand you take it with you.

1800wing,  I do so agree with what you are saying about New Zealand, and would like to encourage anyone who can stump up the fare, and face the long air journey, to make the visit.

The price of the organised leader led motorhome tour of New Zealand which the Club advertises shocks me, but fortunately there are more economical ways of touring that country and several of us here can answer questions about how to do it.

Got back from New Zealand just over a week ago. We hired a motorhome for three weeks and absolutely loved it. Sites good and the scenery etc is fantastic. Trouble is three weeks not anywhere near long enough to do it all. Obviously flights expensive but we did this as part of a bigger tour (spent five weeks in Australia).
