We're not new to touring with the caravan but ours was recently written off (blasted potholeyell) so we are looking for another one. I have been looking on the club's Classified Ads & sent emails to 6 people advertising. Usually with in 1/2 days of them being posted on site. I haven't had any replies although I have asked people for a few extra details & even to let me know if their 'van has been sold, which of course they may have been.. Very disappointing to say the least, I don't think courtesy is too much to ask.

So in view of this experience I am now looking for the best sites online. Can anyone suggest sites that are worth looking at.

Obviously I have been looking at local dealers but without any luck yet. I would like to get a 'van before the end of the year as we have a storage place sitting empty. Any help/ advise you can give would be greatly appreciated.

As a seller of our Campervan advertised on club together and Autotrader. No reply at all from club advert. Sold motorhome very quickly through Autotrader at same price. Got a lot of enquiries and viewings. Auto fee £49

Whichever route you take MM39 just be careful of the scammers.  Good luck with your search

Never bought one through it, but it seems caravanfinder is easiest to specify layout or other criteria.

Thank you all for your replies. I have looked on Caravanfinder & it is very easy to get around.smile I have already seen 2 / 3 caravans that are of interest to us, so here's hoping.

Oneputt (Del) thanks for the reminder about scams etc. Having seen 1/2 comments on here I have had my eyes opened at some of the things that happen.surprised (Btw Protec cover has seen some sterling service! - hope you are well)
