new to caravanning, just bought a 2012 Pegasus Rimini. First Stay was in the recent storms. Found the strong winds a bit unnerving but at least we know the Van it doesn't have any leaks.

Next outing in a few days, so I hope it is a bit calmer.

    Hi riminirover,

I hope you enjoy your Pegasus Rimini. There are a lot of interesting places in Cumberland and Cumbria to visit. We've stayed on some lovely CL's in Cumbria.

We were up in Fife on a site that overlooked the Firth of Forth during that last storm, which we survived with no damage. About 12 miles north wind speeds of 106 mph were recorded on the Firh of Tay

    Have fun with your caravan

just spent four days at Powfoot on the Solway coast. Sunday night was breezy again but we are getting used to it and enjoying being snug in the Rimini. we are aiming to explore Dumfries and Galloway and Northumbria

    welcome

But I have to say, if I lived in Cumbria I wouldn't need a caravan, I reckon our caravans have spent some time in the lakes than anywhere else smile

That's why we Cumbrians have caravans, to get away because of all the "foreigners" coming up here, blocking all the roads. We use them to go to nice peaceful less busy places.wink
