Replace Fridge Thermocouple

The thermocouple seems to have died on my Dometic RM7172. Later known as a RMS 8401.  Can you replace the thermocouple without having to buy a new burner assembley? Any help most appreciated.

    I should say yes as thermocouples are replaced throughout the gas industry. you can even get universal ones that fit various types of gas appliances. would recommend getting the correct one or getting it checked after fitting.
