Roof items clash with caravan cover

Does anyone know if you can easily remove a Truma chimney and a circular TV arial from a caravan roof in order to allow a caravan cover to fit properly over the van ?

Not necessary.  The better makes of cover are model specific and should allow for the aerial  and cowling.  However if you have a cover which requires you to remove these then I would not like to break the seals so would follow BB's advice.

We cover the flue and aerial with a thick towel before carefully putting the cover on. We find this stops the cover tearing. It's our first cover and in our experience it is great with no mould or other issues internally and would highly recommend one.

To prevent the cover rubbing on the chimney I cover the chimney with the bottom half of a plastic milk "bottle" (2 pint size I think).

As regards the circular tv aerial does it have a spike on top? If so cannot this be unscrewed?

You don't have to convince me as I wouldn’t use one either.

    Btw, it’s called humour.😜
