I think the whole point is that you’re not supposed to find it. In which case, it would be irresponsible to publish details of its whereabouts.

However, keep searching and you’ll find it eventually.

We found ours without too much trouble in order to disable the darned thing. There aren’t many places it can hide.

If you tell me your password and credit card PIN number, I will tell you where the tracker is hidden.

My MH has a hidden 'passive' tracker, or so I'm told. I'll not know until I need it in earnest. It may be a case of the 'emperors new clothes' he said cynically.

I`ve got a Lunar and the only problem so far is the Sargant alarm going off for no reason and the Phantom Tracker people ringing up.  Changed two PIR`s so far and the Alarm Box itself but still occasional alarms anyone had the problem and found an answer?

Sargent 310? I initially had problems with mine too. It was fortunately sorted after I sent it all back to Sargent for repair.

I believe it could be that the sun shinning through the window or roof lights puts a beam so to speak and a shadow so when sun moves round the PIR sees it as a movement and sets off alarm. try keeping all curtains/blinds closed even the blinds on roof lights.

I've had a lot of trouble with my Sargent 310 alarm going off for no apparent reason, even during the night and with one of the base units, the tilt alarm triggering it when the van was parked up, level and with the corner steadies down. So far I have had three base units and two PIRs.One of the base units had a new design PCB which Sargent said would cure all the problems.

I have still had some trouble with the latest base unit but think I might have solved the problem with this one and that is it is triggered by sunlight striking the PIR as lornalou has suggested. The PIR is mounted just below where the bed slats pull out from at the front end of the caravan. I have found that by leaving the leading slat protruding by about 2" is sufficient to shade the PIR from any sun whether from the side windows or the roof-light but still able to pick up movement at floor level as I found out when I walked into the van without switching the alarm off.
