e.g. Whoosh, Meow or Woof!

I love them - how many do you know?

Thinking about it, the title sounds like a 6 week old puppy weeing on a carpet .(on a mat a pee-er)

    Absolutely great. I love this sort of thing, how about "The locomotive belched steam."- personification.  Malapropisms-  the train was full of computers. Is Bowdlerism  Bappy Hirthday?  Spoonerism?  Think I might have this wrong and Bowdlerism is changing a word for apparent decency.
