truma water heater

Hi hope you  can help

when heating water using electric truma heater can you leave it on all the time, or do you need to turn it off when the water becomes hot. There is a thermostat but I think it's only for heating the water using gas. Just little concerned as I don't want to burn the water heater out.

    both gas and electric will turn off via thermostat, that's what there for, just the same as a domestic heater but in miniature. Once onsite and connected to EHU I never turn heater off even when filling the aquaroll.
