Evening All

I am a new member and first time posting so I apologise in advance if anything to do with this post is wrong

I am after some help/advice please - I have recently purchased an Adria Altea Up Trent 2015 caravan and was wondering if people could tell me or post photos of any tv brackets or their own TV set up if they have fixed to the internal dividing wall between the lounge and the bathroom (see photos)

I have purchased a vision plus double bracket that I want to attach to the wall in the photo as on its stand the tv is taking up too much room on the shelf section

We have a Maxview precision dish and mount and use the sky box at present to get signal (no aerial on roof)

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance

Internal caravan walls are very thin and don't always offer sufficient support for svrew fixings. You might be ok if you bolt the TV bracket, possibly using a piece of plywood or MDF to add thickness and strength.

You might be wise to ask your dealer about the best position for a tv bracket as sections of the internal wall in some caravans come ready reinforced to take a bracket.

    Hi SImon

Thanks for the advice, I’ve been researching it for a while. I am sure it can be done as I am sure I recall seeing the same van at the dealership with one fitted there

As you say we may need to reinforce with timber on the opposite side within the bathroom cupboard and use bolts and nuts rather than screws

I will be calling the dealership tomorrow but still interested to see other people’s set up in same van

    Thanks again
