Tyre pressures on a VW T30

Hi,

We have recently brought a WV T30 TD converted van, it is fitted with that215/65 R16C tyres the when i checked had pressures around 5.0, all the information i can find suggests between 2.9 and 3.3 depending on load. can anyone please advise the correct pressures?

    check the handbook or the sticker on one of the door pillars.

    thank you. I did look at the pillar and it recommended between 2.9 and 3.3 depending on load, which is why i wondered about them being so over inflated. but i'll stick with the pilar recommendations.
