Put a deposit down today and now need a towbar fitted and then collect and pay remainder then off on my first adventure.

69 and this is my first caravan, bit nervous as the only thing ever towed was a trailer behind an army long wheel base land-rover back in the 70s!

    Welcome to the addiction, John.

    Why not try to do a towing course if you've got qualms about it?

    Hi John and welcome to Club Together.  I'm sure you'll be fine and get to grips with everything if you've towed army trailers.

    Welcome to the club, John. Can I suggest that for your first trip out you go to the club site nearest to your home, or where you store the van, as there will certainly be members there who would give you any assistance should you need it. Just don't be afraid to ask for help as we've all been there in the past.
