Don't think they have given a discount since they started their own rewards scheme some time ago.

I've never bought much from Tow Sure but now never buy anything from them. I bought an item that arrived exactly after the 28 days they suggest is their max. When I questioned it, it was suggested that I should've paid the extra for the upgraded postage, which I suggested was taking the P

Was it ever an official Club offer? We used to use their store in Southampton but since that changed hands I either shop online or at Go Outdoors, wasn't so sure that Towsure were still around?

I thought Towsure was still alive and kicking, David.  It certainly was earlier on in the year when we were at Poolsbrook.  I popped into what I think was the 'original branch' in Sheffield.  I havent heard that they had gone.  I'll try and Google it a bit later when I've got better internet.  Wareham Forest is a bit below par...... and for TV too.... no ITV. 🙂

Just spotted that the OP mentioned that he 'popped into Towsure today'.  That was 2 days ago, so I assume they are still going...

Last time I bought from Towsure, the club membership discount was still  alive.  But our nearest Towsure is a heck of a slog to get to and, I believe, the discount was not available for postal ordering, so I never deal with them now as I have better alternatives.

Just rang Towsure and they said they did not give any discounts for The Camping and Caravan Club; The Caravan and Motorhome Club; Ex Servicemen; Pensioners or anyone else. Boo! Hoo!

the last thing I bought from Towsure was many years ago & will be the last thing I ever buy from them. As it was, I wasn't in any particular rush for it but it took weeks & weeks to arrive after ordering but I noted that the currier only took a day or so to deliver it from when they'd got it. I contacted Towsure to say that although I'd noted within their Ts&Cs that my item might take up to 28 days, I never expected it to actually take exactly 28 days for them to send it & just thought they were covering their backside. Their reply was that if I'd wanted it sooner, then I should have paid the extra delivery charges.

For anyone in the area, Jacksons of Arley (near Nuneaton) give a 5% discount on many items if you show your CAMC membership card.  It's only a small discount, but every little helps... 🙂.  They don't 'broadcast' the discount (there are no notices, up - you get to know by word of mouth').  Neither is it listed in the Club's list of offers....  It may be something that Jacksons have decided too do, off their own bat, but they've been doing this fot years.  I got a couple of pounds off a set of saucepans last week.
