Moving Spare tyre

I have a Mileo 202 which has the spare tyre and tool box in the cupboard taking up most of the space , has anyone moved it elsewhere if so where, I have managed to put the tools in the gas cupboard but can the tyre fit under the chassis if so how.

    If you search the internet you will find that some fiat chassis users have found an underslung spare wheel carrier. Usually this attaches to the rear of the chassis and this will add weight to your payload. Also u need to consider how easy or difficult it is to use in anger. Some of the wind down types seize over time, so you need to do your research.
