What to buy ??

Hi everyone. I'm totally new to this and the more I look at sites the more confused I get on the best caravan to buy so any advice would be great. 

I'm looking for a 3 berth caravan and by Christmas will have £3000 to spend. I know your car has to matched to I've got a bmw 2L 318i but not sure how heavy the caravan can be. 

As you can see I'm totally thick to the basics

    Look in you car registration document, it will tell you the max towing weight

    don't go off the max towing weight, go off the 85% recommended weight of the kerb weight of the vehicle.

    Nose weight will be a consideration to.

    Apart from the technical towing and weight related issues, one of the other big considerations is layout, which often boils down to do you want a fixed bed layout or make beds up every night.
