What base vehicle is it? What age is it and is it petrol or diesel?

It probably is .. Depends how fast you are expecting to go uphill. If you are happy with a low gear crawl then it might be the one for you. Also of course depends what you will be carrying. Trouble is when you view and test drive they are usually empty which of course makes them go much quicker.

This thread is triplicated with posts appearing here, there and everywhere. It’s near impossible to follow.

That depends on what 2ltr engine, your statement is rather sweeping.

we have a new 3.5t Motorhome with a 2ltr add blue engine, it returns over 30mpg travelling at 65mph, even on the A30 from Exeter to Truro it does not come out of 6th gear for any of the hills and certainly doesn’t crawl!!

Luna have not made MH’s for a number of years. Op was asking about an oldish Leaky Luna  with a 5 speed box.

I was asking the age because older 2 litres struggled.

Lunar do still make MHs but I think the Champ is an older model.
