mmm, as I just found out by googling it and I assume you have done the same, or could do the same and not using CT instead, I assume this is going to be a complaint about the club and it's prices?

That could depend on the outlet.  They might not have any at all.

Color lites has been stopped or in very short supply. If you have one you can swop it for a standard bottle with the promise to get a lite one when they restart them.  There is a sticky on caravan and MH chat

They had them available at C&CC  Moffat last month. Also DSB got two refills recently.

Also can only find a rrp for the standard at £21.85.

In the past the lite has always been about £2 more expensive.

If it happened at that time then spend that extra £10 on a take away (plenty in Brighton - last known location) or a local shop or eat cold stuff.

also I usually know when I'm about to run out of gas

Maybe the higher price is because they need to cover the cost of a card machine?surprised

How on earth did you guess that, Corners? Any chance of Friday's lotto numbers (admittedly a lot less predictable than the above!) wink

You would not get much of a takeaway for £10 these days!

Thankfully not a problem we ever encounter as we have refillable bottles and always top up as soon as possible when the first one is empty.

I've fairly recently bought two calor lite refills. The first at our local dealer for about £23 and the second at our calor distribution centre for about £21 - I can't remember the exact prices. The calor centre gave a discount for Caravan and Motorhome Club members! I originally was going to get an ordinary 6kg cylinder as I thought that Lites were in very short supply, but they said they had plenty!

Yes I do have several cylinders before you ask. 2 for the caravan and two for home used for the BBQ for which I generally get ordinary 6kg.

Need to try that when we are in Thirsk in August, is it near the site?

We don't have a Weatherspoons near us, but have seen them around.

We are obviously using the "wrong" sites to find these cheap fish and chips deals, last one we had was over £13 for 2.  We quite often get one supper plus one fish and share the chips as there always seems to be too many chips.
