Naturism

Does anyone know of Certificated Locations that are either Naturist or 'clothing optional'?

There are apparently around 3.8 million naturists in the UK and one would imagine that roughly the same proportion of us are caravanners/motorhomers/campers as in the rest of the population.

There is one at Hickling on Norfolk, can’t remember the name but if you do a CL search Norfolk/Stalham you should find it.

Robbie, you could try ringing the owners of the one at Hickling and asking them if they know of any others elsewhere.

can I ask, do you strip off before setting up the caravan? All that bending down to undo the breakaway cable?

Also what do you wear to the showers? Just flips flops?

Lastly when is it ever warm enough to do this?

guilty as charged I'm afraid. Don't get me wrong I love hot, or even super hot weather (35C+ is my favourite)  but even when there's a 'heat' wave here it's just never as hot as over there?  What I mean is 25C here is not as hot as 25C over there? Just me I think

It's a bit sad some have to ridicule naturism. Many 'experience freedom' this pastime really does offers!

Sorry if you thought my earlier post was ridiculing-it was certainly not meant to be so- just an observation when touring in Europe where FKK and naturism is plentiful and a lot warmer than here, which was my point 😀

I don't think AD was referring to you, Mickey, well I hope he wasn't, but to a few of the previous posters.

Sorry AD, it's just that the reply came thick and fast! However, my post was quoted, by mistake may be?

May be we ought to get back on track with those site suggestions. Sadly in Britdom, there are fewer these days which fit the 'bill'!

Even "over here" the weather hasn't been conducive for the past three weeks. Any brown is, I think, due to rust.

Back to assisting the OP (+ others) and the initial enquiry :-

The website of 'UK Campsite' have a site search facility filter for just "Naturist" campsites which has lists for the UK & EU.

This may assist if my link works :-

    https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/articles/view.asp?id=303

It is just a general listing, solely produced from group member's  reviews submitted (coughs), which includes Clubs, Private sites and also CMC & CCC CS's & CL's (what !!) etc etc.

Hope this helps on another sunny day !

Maybe the CMC could dedicate a few sites in the South Of England where it's warm,  to those who follow the Naturist way of life. Those sites would obviously have to be "all inclusive" and admit non - Naturists as well, giving their customers a choice.   Could be a real money spinner for the CMC LTD as they would be leading the way in inclusivity.
