Just saying hello! I’m going to look at caravans tomorrow, with hopefully buying one later on in the year (having a baby next week)!

Been looking at all the sites today, so exciting to think of all the places you can go and see! Looking forward to seeing more of the uk and showing my boys some fantastic things and making memories!

thanks

Hello there Amie. Sorry you haven't had a reply before this. Usually CT members are quick to say hello.

Hope all is going well with baby. If you are thinking of buying a caravan later in the year, why not visit the Caravan and Motorhome show in October for research. Or at least get to a few dealers, before you make your mind up. There's a lot of choice out there.

i read tons of threads on here four months before we bought our first caravan, and felt I gained such a lot of knowledge.

    Happy planning!

Oh  'eck,  Amie  You've  discovered  one of  the  little  hiccups  of  this  website  --  It  occasionally  does  the  strangest  things  to  our  posts  .

But  still  you  have  got  thro'  to  us  at  last  wink  Hope  all  has  gone  well  with  the  wee  one,  and  that  you  have  lots  of  fun  in  your  caravan  when  you  get  it.

Let  us  know  how  you  are  getting  on  and  have  a  good  browse  round  here.  Not  only  caravan/motorvat  related  stuff,  but  some  of  us  are  ( almost )  polite  &  civilised  nowadays  laughing

As you browse and think about caravans think about the type of caravanning you will do.  Club sites with full facilities, commercial sites with entertainment , 5 van sites with few facilities or the rally field. Or a mixture. The 5 van sites (CLs) are usually quiet and may not always be great for older children, whereas the rallies are usually very child friendly and centres usually have junior committees.  (My children are too old to come with us so  my comments are based on observation.)

be careful what van you buy as to what car you have as could be rather expensive mistake. don't always believe dealers who say "should be ok with your car" check yourself on here or other web sites. welcome to the "club"
