European motorhome storage

Good Morning everybody.
I’m after some advice/experience of storing a motorhome in Europe. I’m considering leaving my motorhome for periods of about 3 months in storage in Europe. Initially I’m looking at northern Spain near Barcelona or Girona. I want to be able to use it for 10 days within that three months. If that’s successful I’ll probably be looking at south eastern France or Italy the next year.
Any advice greatly received.
Thanks Richard

Richard, we know of many folk who have caravans and stay long term on sites in Spain, when they return home, they only take the car and leave the caravan at local storage agents..

.this is in the Valencia area but i would suspect it would be relatively straight forward to google caravan storage in Barca or Girona and you will get loads of hits...

i can't give any personal site recommendation but I would start with Google and a few emails or phone calls...

    good luck...

Thanks for that. I have already Googled it and yes you are correct, plenty of hits, I did email one to get some details which they have replied to.

I just wondered if anybody had used one in that area, as you can’t beat a personal recommendation.

    Thanks again.

We store on Costa Brava. Unfortunately our storage doesn't take motorhomes , but many do. Try http://caravaningmontgri.com/es/ or http://www.caravaninn.net/en/. Both are large storage providers, we used to use caravaning montgri and I could recommend them.
