The new way of reserving pitches 12 months in advance is an improvement and welcomed.  Planning trips and coordinating things is always a challenge.  Once a reservation is made I make sure it is honoured. Afterall I am reserving a pitch others may need.  But this year uncovering the van for its first trip we were met with horror.  Front and rear panels with 12 inch splits.  The weather must have affected the van. Thank god it was covered else the damage could have been far worse. Two months in and no signs of repair.  A two year old van succumed to the blast from the east.  So all those plans are now in tatters.  All those bookings are being cancelled and until a repair date is given no plans can be made.  So sorry to those sites.  This is not an excude these things happen.

No need to apologise, D3, as cancelling at least 72 hours in advance is allowed within the terms and the sites will probably re-let the pitches.

    Hope you get sorted soon.
