Hello,

I have booked Pembrey Country Park to arrive in June, but then noticed on another website that there are restrictions on the beach regarding dogs. Is there anyone out there who can enlighten me on the restrictions? I will have to revise my plans as the main intention of booking this was to enable easy access to the beach so that my four legged friends could enjoy their holiday too......

It seems to be only part of the beach, GnG.

As well as the beach there are acres and acres of park for your dogs to enjoy.

Thank you. This link is really useful! They think the sea is there purely for their pleasure and can never understand it if we don't allow them to go anywhere near it.....!

GnG don't worry about dogs on the beach, restrictions only apply to the central area.Cefn Sidan  sands (Pembrey) are about 6 miles long, so plenty of room. When you get near the beach to to your right and follow signs, Cwn i'r traeth Dogs for the beach. Beautiful sands if the tide is out the sea is about half a mile away. Enjoy
