Avtex Twig Aerial

Does anyone know if the much talked about Avtex twig aerial just unscrews. i.e. the mast with the coil around it can be removed just leaving the base in place.

    The twig ariel is useless, my 2014 VIP has one never found a signal yet, priced up the new 580 on a pole to be fitted in the van, aerial 149, fitting 180, so its cheaper to buy a satellite dish. or make sure the site has euh bollards.

    Mine works fine, I asked the question because I'm going to buy a cover and am hoping the mast just un screws?  Anyone know?

    Is it one of these? If so, it looks very much like the radio aerial of my Smarts & they do unscrew .... might be a bit tight if its neveryet been removed.
