Has the club lost it's way? We didn't receive the May monthly magazine (usually arrives 2 weeks before the new month), so notified the club last week and was told to wait another week. So yesterday spoke to head office and was informed 'no worries' we will send you May issue in the post.

This morning, we received an email from the club with an invoice for £4.00 for the May issue. I find this totally unacceptable as:

1, We was not informed we would be charged and

2. It is NOT our fault that the magazine was not delivered.

We have been members for over 20 years and this is another instance where the soul of the club has gone. Be aware of the devious ways the club is now operating, and as it is the holiday weekend all the head office people are away!!!

    It’s clearly a mistake. Ring them on Monday and get it sorted is the best way, I reckon.

    I'm so sorry to hear about this. I can see that you have already been advised by one of my colleagues that we would never charge a Member for a magazine unless additional copies were requested.
