Eastridge Caravan Park, Habberley
FANTASTIC
Whilst I’m reluctant to share a fantastic review on the Eastridge Caravan Park since it’s a pure gem, I don’t want to become selfish.
Firstly, I cannot speak highly enough of the owners Chris and Deb Pinches. In particular Chris. This is only our second outing with our tourer and being of mature years has been quite daunting but fun. We took a wrong turning which is entirely down to us and ended up having to turn around in a narrow road which meant unhitching the caravan. By the time we arrived at Eastridge Caravan Park we were a bit stressed and the van and car were covered in mud. Chris straight away took account of how we were feeling, washed the car and the van and helped us set up.
Secondly, the site itself. Lived up to the write up and more. Very well laid out with gravel pitches by fields and picnic benches set up in the middle. A great TV reception, but the Wi-Fi and phone coverage were poor but that could be down to our network which is EE.
The toilet and shower were spotlessly clean and the fact that there was signage on the outside to say it was occupied or not was a nice touch. The waste area was spotless.
The local pub the Mytton Arms was really friendly and a great traditional pub. The landlady was really friendly and our dog Rosie was made most welcome.
It’s a great site for us being an hour away from where we live, ticked all the boxes and there's so much to do. In fact, we booked straight away for the bank holiday weekend.
THANK YOU Chris for making our weekend special and memorable.
