whats the trick to remove the rear indicator light cover to change the bulb ? Looked and tried but don’t want to force anything in fear of splitting/breaking the cover

    There's probably a clip at the base of the light that you reach through a small slot in the bottom of the lamp cover.

    Use a tool similar to the one in the pic.

    You need to push the clip upwards and then pull the light outwards.

    A picture of your rear cover might help if this doesn't work.
