Hi,

Can anybody recommend somebody who could install a Fiamma F45s (300) awning onto our Talbot Pilote Motorhome in the Beds/Bucks/Herts area?

I have got everything else sorted with the van, but I'm not confident of installing the awning so I would rather pay somebody to do it for me.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

    Try Rose Awnings at Poole.

I have used Southern Motorhomes in Taplow (near Maidenhead) for years and happy with their service. Not sure if they fit awnings but I would be surprised if they dont. Definitely worth a call and if they can't do it they might be able to suggest somewhere local.

Thanks Daisy, I'll give them a shout.

I have rang a few garages who service motorhomes near to me and a few have quoted me £200-£300 to fit an awning! This really expensive to me?

Does anybody have any experience of installing an awning at all? Initially I was nervous about doing it as I want to make sure it is done right, but having watched some videos on YouTube and looked at the instructions manual it actually doesn't look that difficult?

it isn't clear if you have the awning already, or not....

if not, I would be grinding hard to negotiate a 'fully fitted' purchase deal, rather then pay top dollar for the awning and then again for the separate fitting somewhere else...

a few phone calls should see you come up with an 'all in' deal a lot cheaper than the two prices added together...

    good luck.

Yes we purchased the awning seperately for a decent price, but I did not expect there being any issues getting installed.
