Caravan Engineer/Servicer
Hi there
I wonder if anyone can help? We bought an older style caravan last year and my husband bought a manual in order to service bits of it himself. It got him to thinking that he may consider becoming a caravan engineer/ servicer. He was wondering what training and accredited courses he would have to undertake to become this?
He currently has his own garage fixing cars and his qualifications include.
City & Guilds 1,2,3 in Automotive Studies
City & Gulds 390 technicians
Scotvec HNC Automotive Studies & management
HNC Computer technology
HND Mechatronics
Bachelor of Engineering
Thanks in advance

Hi Mikkie, as stated above he will need to acquire qualifications from NCC. His engineering and automotive skills will count for a lot but gas safety is a big part of the service, as is the electrical knowledge.
See this link. HERE
Good luck to him.
