I'm currently on site at Bridlington and this was the first area I came to with a caravan just over 30 years ago. Today we have been to a small seaside village called Ulrome. Am I right in thinking way back then the club had a site there around that time. It just rings a bell.

Thought so. I'm pleased about that. I can remember that from 30 years ago but can't remember the name of the local pub we went to on Wednesday.

Sad to see severe coastal erosion here. Static caravan hard standings and ehu's collapsed onto the beach along the cliff edge.

There is a peach of a small private site, including a separate CL area at Barmston village Harry, set back from cliff edge in safety! Think it is called Rectory Farm. Showers and loos on both areas, adult only, huge dog walking area. Very nice.

I was reading this when an advert came on the tv for Ribby Hall holiday village near Blackpool another place that once had a CC site. Other now long gone CC sites near the coast which we once visited included Pontins at Morecambe and Gosford Gardens near North Berwick in Scotland.

Just out of interest we have never been here in York when the site was so quiet mostly I am told by the warden because of the weather.
